Smoking Policy
WE TAKE IT A STEP FURTHER TO PROTECT ALL OUR EMPLYEES, SHAREHOLDERS AND STAKEHOLDERS
WRITTEN POLICY
The employee will receive a copy of this policy in the employee's orientation packet. In addition, copies of the policy will be posted in various locations throughout our facilities including break room, Office, Lobby, Production Sectors, Company Gates, etc. Additional copies are available upon request.
SMOKING IN THE WORKPLACE
Because T&T CALGroup will be operating in a private building not open to the general public, smoking at T&T CALGroup including its subsidiaries T&T Web Designing & Marketing Services, SWEERGLOBAL is not governed by state law or local ordinance. T&T CALGroup does not allow employees who have private offices or share offices to smoke in their offices. Smoking is not allowed in and around the premises of any T&T CALGroup Complex; however, smoking is allowed in only the designated smoking rooms, which will be clearly labelled. Please observe the posted no smoking signs.
SMOKING/NO-SMOKING Signs
To support its policy of not allowing smoking in other than designated smoking areas, T&T CALGroup will post "No Smoking" and "Smoking" signs in the appropriate areas. Each sign posted in an area where smoking is prohibited carries the internationally recognized symbol for no smoking; a red circle containing a lit cigarette with a line drawn diagonally through the circle. Please observe these signs at all times.
Nondiscrimination
What the employee does outside of working hours and off T&T CALGroup premises will not be the basis of any disciplinary action by T&T CALGroup. Nor will T&T CAL Group pursue a policy of discharging employees or refusing to hire applicants because they are smokers.
